Sybille A. Reitz, Senior Director, Global Head of Public Relations

Sybille Reitz is the Senior Director and Global Head of Public Relations for Dow Jones Indexes. As part of the senior management team of Dow Jones Indexes, she is responsible for developing, directing and implementing worldwide public relations strategies to promote more than 130,000 blue-chip, benchmark and specialty indexes.

Ms. Reitz joined Dow Jones Indexes in May 2000 to build a global public relations platform that enhances the business’ need for transparency and visibility of its indexes in an increasingly global financial marketplace. She leads a six-member PR team and oversees PR agencies from headquarters in New York to execute Dow Jones Indexes public relations programs in Asia, Europe, Middle East and the Americas. Between 2001 and 2009 she was responsible to develop and execute the public relations strategy of STOXX Limited until Dow Jones & Company sold its stake in the joint venture in December 2009. Ms. Reitz has executed numerous media tours and events on behalf of Dow Jones Indexes and STOXX Ltd. in major financial centers including New York, Chicago, Toronto, London, Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich, Madrid, Milan, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai and Singapore.

Before joining Dow Jones Indexes, Ms. Reitz was a public relations officer at Deutsche Vermoegensberatung AG, a Frankfurt-based financial service provider.

Born in Peine, Germany, she received a degree in marketing communications with a concentration in public relations from Deutsche Angestellten Akademie based in Frankfurt. She is a member of the Bundesverband deutscher Pressesprecher, a German based association of corporate spokespeople.
