NEW YORK, March 8, 2006 — Dow Jones Indexes today announced component changes in the Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend Index, which measures the stock performance of the top 100 yield dividend paying companies in developed markets in Europe, Pacific, Asia and Canada.
MFI Furniture Group PLC (Great Britain; London: MFI) and Billerud AB (Sweden: BILL) will be deleted from the Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend Index and replaced by Telecom Corporation of New Zealand Ltd. (New Zealand: TEL) and Russel Metals Inc. (Canada; Toronto: RUS).
MFI Furniture Group PLC and Billerud AB are being removed due to failure to meet the Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend Index eligibility requirements.
The changes in the Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend Index will be effective as of the open of trade on Friday, March 10, 2006.
The Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend Index is derived from the Dow Jones World Developed-Ex.U.S. Index, which represents 95% of free-float market capitalization for developed countries excluding the U.S. Represented markets currently include Canada, Western Europe, Japan, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
