Component Change Made To Dow Jones Sector Titans Banks Index

NEW YORK, March 29, 2004 – Dow Jones Indexes announced a component change in the Dow Jones Sector Titans Banks index.

FleetBoston Financial Corp. (US) will be deleted from the Dow Jones Sector Titans Banks index and replaced by Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. (Japan). FleetBoston Financial Corp. is being deleted because of its acquisition by Bank of America Corp. (US).

The changes in the Dow Jones Sector Titans 30 Indexes will be effective at the start of trading Thursday, April 1, 2004.
