NEW YORK (August 24, 2009) — Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced component changes in the Dow Jones Global Select Dividend, Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend, Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30, Dow Jones Australia Select Dividend 30 and Dow Jones Hong Kong Select Dividend 30 indexes.
In the Dow Jones Global Select Dividend Index, Qantas Airways Limited (Australia, Travel & Leisure, QAN.AU) will be replaced by Telekom Austria AG (Austria, Telecommunications, TKA.VI).
In the Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend Index, Qantas Airways Limited (Australia, Travel & Leisure, QAN.AU) will be replaced by A2A S.p.A. (Italy, Utilities, A2A.MI).
In the Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30 Index and Dow Jones Australia Select Dividend 30 Index, Qantas Airways Limited (Australia, Travel & Leisure, QAN.AU) will be replaced by Brambles Limited (Australia, Industrial Goods & Services, BXB.AU).
In Dow Jones Hong Kong Select Dividend 30 Index, PCCW Limited (Hong Kong, Telecommunications, 0008.HK) will be replaced by Yanzhou Coal Mining Company Limited (Hong Kong, Basic Resources, 1171.HK).
Qantas Airways Limited and PCCW Limited are being removed due to the cancellation of their dividend payments. All changes in the Dow Jones Global Select Dividend, Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend, Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30, Dow Jones Australia Select Dividend 30 and Dow Jones Hong Kong Select Dividend 30 Indexes will be effective before the open of trading on Friday, August 28, 2009.
