Component Changes Made to Dow Jones Summer/Winter Games Index

NEW YORK (Oct. 6, 2009) — Dow Jones Indexes today announced component changes in the Dow Jones Summer/Winter Games Index.

CanWest Global Communications Corp. SV (Canada, Media, CGS.T) will be deleted from the Dow Jones Summer/Winter Games Index due to its filing for bankruptcy protection.

These changes will decrease the number of components in the Dow Jones Summer/Winter Games Index to 36 from 37.

All changes will be effective as of the open of trading on Friday, October 9, 2009.

The Dow Jones Summer/Winter Games Index measures the performance of all publicly traded securities of companies that are official partners, sponsors or suppliers of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The index is reviewed quarterly in March, June, September and December.
