Constituent Change Announced for the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index

NEW YORK, JULY 25, 2016: S&P Dow Jones Indices will make the following change in the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index:

  • Effective after the close of trading on July 29, 2016, First Niagara Financial Group Inc (Exchange: Nasdaq, Ticker: FNFG) will be removed from the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index. KeyCorp (Exchange: NYSE, Ticker: KEY) will acquire First Niagara Financial Group Inc for $2.30 in cash and 0.68 shares of KEY per common share.

The Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index represents the country’s top stocks by dividend yield, selected annually and subject to screening and buffering criteria.
