Dow Jones Indexes Announces Dow Jones Country Titans and Dow Jones Select Dividend Indexes Regular Annual and Quarterly Review Results

NEW YORK, March 4, 2010 — Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced the results of the regular annual review of the Dow Jones Country Titans and the regular annual and regular quarterly review of the Dow Jones Select Dividend Indexes.

All changes will be effective after the close of trading on Friday, March 19, 2010.

Dow Jones Country Titans Indexes

In the Dow Jones Australia Titans 30 Index, Transurban Group (Industrial Goods & Services, TCL.AU) will be replaced by BlueScope Steel Ltd. (Basic Resources, BSL.AU).

In the Dow Jones Brazil Titans 20 ADR Index, the following three components are being removed: TIM Participacoes S/A ADS (Telecommunications, TCSL.BR), Brasil Telecom S/A ADS (Telecommunications, BRT04.BR) and CPFL Energia S.A. ADS (Utilities, CPFE3.BR). Companies joining the index: Banco Santander Brazil S.A. ADS (Banks, BSBR), Fibria Celulose S.A. ADS (Basic Resources, FIBR3.BR) and Net Servicos de Comunicacao S/A ADS (Media, NETC4.BR).

In the Dow Jones Canada Titans 60 Index, Enerplus Resources Fund Un (Oil & Gas, ERF.UN.T) and Yellow Pages Income Fund (Media, YLO.UN.T) will be replaced by Cenovus Energy Inc. (Oil & Gas, CVE.T) and ARC Energy Trust Un (Oil & Gas, AET.UN.T).

In the Dow Jones Cyprus Titans 10 Index, Cyprus Cement PCL (Construction & Materials, CCC.CP) will be replaced by A. Tsokkos Hotels Public Ltd. (Travel & Leisure, TSH.CP).

In the Dow Jones Germany Titans 30 Index, the following three components are being removed: Volkswagen AG (Automobiles & Parts, VOW.XE), Beiersdorf AG (Personal & Household Goods, BEI.XE) and Fresenius SE Pfd. (Health Care, FRE.XE). Companies joining the index: Infineon Technologies AG (Technology, IFX.XE), Volkswagen AG Non-Voting Preferred (Automobiles & Parts, VOW3.XE) and HeidelbergCement AG (Construction & Materials, HEI.XE).

In the Dow Jones Hong Kong Titans 30 Index, Bank of East Asia Ltd. (Banks, 0023.HK) and Hong Kong & China Gas Co. Ltd. (Utilities, 0003.HK) will be replaced by Tencent Holdings Ltd. (Technology, 0700.HK) and China Coal Energy Co. Ltd. (Basic Resources, 1898.HK).

In the Dow Jones India Titans 30 Index, the following five components are being removed:
GAIL (India) Ltd. (Oil & Gas, 532155.BY), Steel Authority of India Ltd. (Basic Resources, 500113.BY), Mundra Port & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Industrial Goods & Services, 532921.BY), Reliance Capital Ltd. (Insurance, 500111.BY) and Essar Oil Ltd. (Oil & Gas, 500134.BY). Companies joining the index: Tata Motors Ltd. (Industrial Goods & Services, 500570.BY), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (Basic Resources, 500440.BY), JSW Steel Ltd. (Basic Resources, 500228.BY), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Industrial Goods & Services, 500520.BY) and Sesa Goa Ltd. (Basic Resources, 500295.BY).

In the Dow Jones Italy Titans 30 Index, Unipol Gruppo Finanziario S.p.A. Pfd. (Insurance, UNI.MI) and ERG S.p.A. (Oil & Gas, ERG.MI) will be replaced by Pirelli & C. S.p.A. (Automobiles & Parts, PC.MI) and Banca Popolare dell’Emilia Romagna S.C.A.R.L. (Banks, BPE.MI).

In the Dow Jones Japan Titans 100 Index, the following three components are being removed: West Japan Railway Co. (Travel & Leisure, 9021.TO), Ajinomoto Co. Inc. (Food & Beverage, 2802.TO) and Chuo Mitsui Trust Holdings Inc. (Banks, 8309.TO). Companies joining the index: Orix Corp. (Financial Services, 8591.TO), Nidec Corp. (Industrial Goods & Services, 6594.OK) and Olympus Corp. (Health Care, 7733.TO).

In the Dow Jones Kuwait Titans 30 Index, the following four components are being removed: Al-Mazaya Holding Co. S.A.K.C. (Real Estate, MAZAYA.KW), Securities House K.S.C.C. (Financial Services, SECH.KW), First Investment Co. K.S.C.C. (Financial Services, ALOLA.KW) and National Ranges Co. K.S.C.C. (Construction & Materials, MAYADEEN.KW). Companies joining the index: Gulf Bank of Kuwait K.S.C. (Banks, GBK.KW), Kuwait Portland Cement Co. K.S.C.C. (Construction & Materials, PCEM.KW), Kuwait & Gulf Link Transport Co. K.S.C.C. (Industrial Goods & Services, KGL.KW) and Kuwait Cement Co. K.S.C. (Construction & Materials, KCEM.KW).

In the Dow Jones Mexico Titans 20 Index, the following three components are being removed: Urbi Desarrollos Urbanos S.A.B. de C.V. (Personal & Household Goods, URBI.MX), Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico S.A.B. de C.V. Seri (Industrial Goods & Services, GAP.MX) and Desarrolladora Homex S.A.B. de C.V. (Personal & Household Goods, HOMEX.MX). Companies joining the index: Mexichem S.A.B. de C.V. (Chemicals, MEXCHEM.MX), Grupo Bimbo S.A.B. de C.V. Series A (Food & Beverage, BIMBO.MX) and Grupo Elektra S.A. de C.V. (Retail, ELEKTRA.MX).

In the Dow Jones Netherlands Titans 30 Index, SNS Reaal N.V. (Financial Services, SR.AE) will be replaced by Delta Lloyd N.V. (Insurance, DL.AE).

In the Dow Jones RusIndex Titans 10, Severstal JSC GDR (Basic Resources, CHMF.RS) will be replaced by Evraz Group S.A. (Basic Resources, EVR.LN).

In the Dow Jones South Africa Titans 30 Index, Sappi Ltd. (Basic Resources, SAP.JO) and Barloworld Ltd. (Industrial Goods & Services, BAW.JO) will be replaced by Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Ltd. (Health Care, APN.JO) and Truworths International Ltd. (Retail, TRU.JO).

In the Dow Jones South Korea Titans 30 Index, the following three components are being removed: Samsung Securities Co. Ltd. (Financial Services, 016360.SE), OCI Co. Ltd. (Chemicals, 010060.SE) and SK Holdings Co. Ltd (Financial Services, 003600.SE). Companies joining the index: Kia Motors Corp (Automobiles & Parts, 000270.SE), Samsung SDI Co. Ltd. (Industrial Goods & Services, 006400.SE) and NHN Corp. (Technology, 035420.SE).

In the Dow Jones Spain Titans 30 Index, Banco de Valencia S.A. (Banks, BVA.MC) will be replaced by Zardoya Otis S.A. (Industrial Goods & Services, ZOT.MC).

In the Dow Jones Sri Lanka Titans 20 Index, the following four components are being removed: Ceylinco Insurance PLC (Insurance, CINS.SL), Sri Lanka Telecom PLC (Telecommunications, SLTL.SL), Chemical Industries (Colombo) PLC (Chemicals, CIC.SL) and Lanka IOC PLC (Retail, LIOC.SL). Companies joining the index: Asian Hotels & Properties PLC (Real Estate, AHPL.SL), Hatton National Bank PLC Non-Voting (Banks, HNB.SL), Aitken Spence Hotel Holdings PLC (Travel & Leisure, AHUN.SL) and Browns & Co. PLC (Industrial Goods & Services, BRWN.SL).

In the Dow Jones Sweden Titans 30 Index, Holmen AB Series B, (Basic Resources, HOLM-B.SK) will be replaced by Oriflame Cosmetics S.A. (Personal & Household Goods, ORI-SDB.SK).

In the Dow Jones Switzerland Titans 30 Index, Petroplus Holdings AG (Oil & Gas, PPHN.VX) will be replaced by GAM Holding AG (Financial Services, GAM.VX).

In the Dow Jones Turkey Titans 20 Index, Sekerbank A.S. (Banks, SKBNK.IS) will be replaced by Arcelik A.S. (Personal & Household Goods, ARCLK.IS).

No changes are being made in Dow Jones France Titans 30 Index and Dow Jones U.K. Titans 50 Index as a result of this annual review.

Dow Jones Australia Titans 30 Index remained flat at $622.95 billion.
Dow Jones Brazil Titans 20 ADR Index increased to $350.92 billion from $340.01 billion.
Dow Jones Canada Titans 60 Index increased to $992.49 billion from $975.33 billion.
Dow Jones Cyprus Titans 10 Index decreased to $434.77 million from $455.33 million.
Dow Jones Germany Titans 30 Index increased to $710.43 billion from $703.58 billion.

The Dow Jones Country Titans Indexes represents major markets from Europe, Asia and the Americas. Changes in the Dow Jones Country Titans Indexes are being announced today after the conclusion of a regular annual index review using the free-float market capitalization and trading volume for components as of March 3, 2010.

Dow Jones Select Dividend Indexes

In the Dow Jones Germany Select Dividend 20 Index, Leoni AG (Industrial Goods & Services, LEO.XE) will be replaced by Deutsche Boerse AG (Financial Services, DB1.XE).

The dividend yield of the reconstituted Dow Jones Germany Select Dividend 20 Index will increase to 3.52% from 2.95% as a result of this regular annual review.

In the Dow Jones U.K. Select Dividend 20 Index, the following four components will be removed: BT Group PLC (Telecommunications, BT.A.LN), Rexam PLC (Industrial Goods & Services, REX.LN), DS Smith PLC (Industrial Goods & Services, SMDS.LN) and Ladbrokes PLC (Travel & Leisure, LAD.LN). The companies joining the index: Astrazeneca PLC (Health Care, AZN.LN), National Grid PLC (Utilities, NG.LN), Royal Dutch Shell PLC B (Oil & Gas, RDSA.LN), and Vodafone Group PLC (Telecommunications, VOD.LN).

The dividend yield of the reconstituted Dow Jones U.K. Select Dividend 20 Index will increase to 5.86% from 4.80% as a result of this regular annual review.

In the Dow Jones Japan Select Dividend 30 Index, the following three components will be removed: Star Micronics Co. Ltd. (Industrial Goods & Services, 7718.TO), Sumitomo Metal Industries Ltd. (Basic Resources, 5405.TO) and Central Glass Co. Ltd. (Construction & Materials, 4044.TO). The companies joining the index: eAccess Ltd. (Technology, 9427.TO), Konami Corp. (Personal & Household Goods, 9766.TO) and Park24 Co. Ltd. (Retail, 4666.TO).

The dividend yield of the reconstituted Dow Jones Japan Select Dividend 30 Index will increase to 3.55% from 3.45% as a result of this regular quarterly review.

No changes are being made to the Dow Jones Australia Select Dividend 30 Index, Dow Jones France Select Dividend 20 Index, Dow Jones Italy Select Dividend 20 Index, Dow Jones Netherlands Select Dividend 15 Index, Dow Jones Spain Select Dividend 20 Index, Dow Jones Sweden Select Dividend 15 Index and Dow Jones Switzerland Select Dividend 20 Index as a result of this regular annual review.

In the Dow Jones Global Select Dividend Index, Rautaruukki Oyj K (Finland, Basic Resource, RTRKS.HE) will be replaced by Crescent Point Energy Corp. (Canada, Oil & Gas, CPG.T).

The dividend yield of the reconstituted Dow Jones Global Select Dividend Index will increase to 5.81% from 5.75% as a result of this regular quarterly review.

In the Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend Index, Rautaruukki Oyj K (Finland, Basic Resources, RTRKS.HE) and Rexam PLC (United Kingdom, Industrial Goods & Services, REX.LN) will be replaced by Parmalat S.p.A. (Italy, Food & Beverage, PLT.MI) and Crescent Point Energy Corp. (Canada, Oil & Gax, CPG.T).

The dividend yield of the reconstituted Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend Index will increase to 5.58% from 5.52% as a result of this regular quarterly review.

No changes are being made to the Dow Jones Asia Select Dividend 30 Index, Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30 Index, Dow Jones Canada Select Dividend Index, Dow Jones Hong Kong Select Dividend 30 Index and Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index as a result of this regular quarterly review.

The Dow Jones Select Dividend Index family currently includes global indexes, regional indexes for Europe, Asia and the Americas, and country-specific indexes for Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the U.S. and the U.K. Each index includes a fixed number of components, ranging from 15 to 100, that are selected based on rankings by dividend yield. Index components are weighted by indicated annual dividend.
