NEW YORK (January 28, 2010) — Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced that it has been named "Index Provider of the Year in Asia" by Asia Asset Management magazine.
The award recognizes Dow Jones Indexes’ existing market share and index launches in the past two years across the region as well as initiatives in Asian emerging markets such as China and India. Furthermore, Dow Jones Indexes’ thought leadership and efforts to promote and enhance market transparency and efficiency were awarded.
