The 1800-stock index and its regional and sector sub-indexes are derived from the Dow Jones World Index, a broad market global benchmark of approximately 5000 stocks, and reflect the market performance of the leading 600 companies in each of the developed markets of Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and the Americas. The 1800 components of the new index series cover 86% of the Dow Jones World Index.
