NEW YORK, Oct. 11, 2006 — Dow Jones Indexes today announced component changes in the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index and the Dow Jones Telecommunication Titans 30 Index.
BellSouth Corp. (NYSE:BLS) is being removed from the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index and the Dow Jones Telecommunication Titans 30 Index due to the company’s acquisition by AT&T (NYSE:T).
Superior Industries International Inc. (NYSE:SUP) will replace BellSouth in the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index.
The changes in the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index will be effective as of the opening of trading on Friday, October 13, 2006.
Carso Global Telecom S.A. de C.V. A1 (Mexico, MX: TELECOM.A1) will replace BellSouth in the Dow Jones Telecommunication Titans 30 Index.
The component change to the Dow Jones Telecommunication Titans 30 Index will be effective pending FCC approval of AT&T’s acquisition of BellSouth Corp. Effective date to be announced.
